Japanese Tetris



What do you get when you combine Tetris and Japan? A very weird but entertaining game show, of course.

London 2012





So I just saw the chosen official logo of the 2012 olympics. At first I hated it. Bad colors, bad shapes, ugh. But after looking at it for some time, the depth occured to me. The strange shapes spell out an abstract 2012 and also, if you look closer, form a stylised athlete, which is pretty neatly done.



But the purple and yellow still bugged me, until I learned the logo is going to be used in a wide variety of colors. So I guess I can live with it, even though most of the other reactions were negative.

Besides, the fact that the stylized man is a little less obvious this time and the fact that they, for once, avoided the cliche of using the olympic colors, is worth something too. Check out these logo's from previous and upcoming olympics. Cliché anyone?
