Ms Paint


I've seen some amazing drawings being produced with Photoshop, illustrator and painter, but what this guy produced beats 'em all. He spent 500 (five hundred, not a typo) hours on making a drawing with Ms Paint. If you don't know the difference between the previous programs and Ms Paint, then let me tell you it's like racing a Ferrari against a bicycle.
You can always try to make an even better image, but be clear to take a week vacation first ;).

Droogle


Droogle helps you make the most out of your alcoholic ingredients at home.
Just what I needed!
They've assembled a search engine (one who looks like google's) where you can search for every drink recipe you have ever heard of. It's very easy and very accurate. I love this.
You can even use the liquor closet to select all the ingredients you have in the house, and droogle will tell you all the possible recipes you can make with those ingredients.

Pets in uniform


This guy uses photoshop to paste your pet's head into a military uniform. Pretty weird if you ask me. That and the fact he isn't good at it. The shading and color tones are way off. Would you pay 20$ for something like that? I hope not. I'm a photoshop intermediate and even I could do it better for only half the price.(Which doesn't mean you have to start sending in pet pictures now :)

Google down


I thought this would never happen, that it was impossible, but it did happen. Google was down for about half an hour. Google.com, froogle, gmail, adsense, adwords, PR ranks,...all gone. Pretty exiting. Some said it was a DNS error, since the ip address still worked, other said google was hacked, since the site redirected to another site for a short while. I hope I'll hear more soon. Here's a screenshot of the site google redirected to.

This is a restaurant in Taiwan. As you can see they chose a very cool/weird theme.
Don't know what you think, but I don't really want to go eat dinner at a toilet-themed restaurant. The meal in the second pic looks delicious, though.
